WHERE IT FITS
Common clinical settings
Protocols and parameters are chosen by the treating clinician for each patient.
01
Muscular and mechanical back pain
Used alongside exercise, posture work and manual therapy in active rehabilitation programmes.
02
Strain from work and sport
Used for repetitive-load and posture-related strain in working adults and athletes.
03
Deeper structures
The lumbar region lies deeper than many joints. Near-infrared 810 and 980 nm give the clinician options for deeper tissue.
WHY THREE WAVELENGTHS
One platform, three tissue depths
VOLTA F3 delivers 650, 810 and 980 nm, each controlled independently, so the clinician can match the wavelength mix to the tissue being treated.
650 NM
Superficial tissue. Red light, absorbed close to the surface.
810 NM
Deep tissue. Near-infrared light; the 800–810 nm band is the most studied in photobiomodulation research, where absorption by cytochrome c oxidase is the proposed mechanism.
980 NM
Water and hemoglobin. Accelerates microcirculation and oxygen delivery, suited to advanced deep-tissue healing protocols.
CLINICAL WORKFLOW
From assessment to review
01
Assess
Review the patient and the condition.
02
Select protocol
Choose from the protocols built into the VOLTA F3 system.
03
Set parameters
Confirm wavelengths and settings for the case.
04
Treat and review
Deliver the session, then review progress.
